List with Ray White and See Double
The Ray White Group, in partnership with the New Zealand Herald, Property Press, Suburban News, Outlook and Far North Real Estate, have brought together substantive marketing incentives for vendors who are considering marketing their property during the two week period commencing 10th March 2012.
Each of our members in areas where each of our media partners have publications will have information on the upgrade incentives for vendors who are currently on the market or considering. These incentives will create a higher awareness to the currently active buyer pool for that particular area.

Auction for Ronald McDonald House Auckland
Ray White has been a proud business partner of Ronald McDonald House for the past five years.
Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for over 10,000 New Zealander’s each year. For these Kiwi families, the Ronald McDonald House is more than just four walls and a roof; it provides a home for them while their child is receiving medical treatment atStarshipHospital. Since Ronald McDonald House inAucklandopened in 1994 over 45,000 families have stayed at the House.
We are aware that corporate responsibility is an increasingly significant part of assistance needed by charities such as Ronald McDonald House. It is for this reason that, after five years of having a business partner association with Ronald McDonald House, we wish to hold our inaugural Ray White Charity Auction which will directly support Ronald McDonald House.
At Ray White we collectively understand the importance of a home which is why we are proud to be able to present the Ray White Ronald McDonald House auction during March 2012. We are asking for support to the online auction by way of donation of items that are valued at more than $200.
Trade Me has kindly provided banner advertising together with space on their site. Donated items will be promoted via Trade Me, with the supplying partner being acknowledged on individual auctions in a promotion that is expected to have in excess of 50,000 direct viewings.
The auction will go live during our National Conference and Awards Evening.
We would ask in considering supporting our inaugural Ronald McDonald House auction that you are aware that this is a public auction and all proceeds will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Auckland for their distribution through Ronald McDonald House Charities.
If you would like to donate goods to this auction please contact us via the submission form.
We thank you for your generous consideration.
Auckland Market Update
During the past 12 months in Auckland there have been 7,793 sales of which 57% were houses. This has increased from the previous 12 months by 19%. Just over a third of property sales throughout Auckland were less than $400,000 and sales above $1 million were just over 14%.

In January 2012 there were 434 sales – an increase of 29% on the previous January period. The average sale price across the Auckland market was $569,000. Many markets across Auckland continue to show strength given that buyer confidence remains high and that there is still a shortage of property that is coming onto the market, which has a two-fold effect that hold prices and also reduce the days on market for sellers.
Please find attached the Ray White market update for Auckland which covers 222 suburbs and is available suburb-by-suburb from any of our local Ray White offices.
