Business Performance Manager – Christchurch Based

The Ray White group in New Zealand is considered to be one of the leaders in the property industry; currently transacting $4.7 billion worth of property sales per annum through 131 franchise offices.  In addition to this we manage over 14,700 properties and are involved with our financial division branded under the Loan Market, who facilitate over $1.2 billion in annual lending through a broker team of 35.  We also provide investment, commercial and rural services into the market place.

The position of the Business Performance Manager will be primarily to service the needs and requirements of our South Island group members; which involves a focus on recruitment and the development of assigned offices in our network. The position has three key elements being that of relationship management, business management and administration tasks.  In the area of relationship management you will be involved in the development of strategies for recruitment; conduct regular analysis of assigned Ray White offices; establish a mentor relationship with our Elite sales members, respond to the needs of our network owners while assisting in the changeover, sale and growth of our agency business.  In the business management area conduct regular assessments and implement growth plans for our principals in agency and Elite sales members; have an understanding of our company’s technology and intranet systems.  The day-to-day tasks – expand for more


Ray White Launches News App

The Ray White Group in New Zealand has long being recognised as an industry leader in technology for their members and also the interface to the public online.

Ray White recently introduced a news application which is available to be downloaded from the iTunes Store. The application provides the user with real-time updates of events and happenings inside the Ray White Group. It also provides for contact information with each member office, with a direct link to over 130 local Ray White websites.  The application also provides commentary from our New Zealand Chief Executive, Carey Smith.

Keith Ashkettle, head of Ray White Systems, said that the application adds to our current interface with the public. “We have recently introduced Walk Score and Neighbourhoods to our website, enabling us to provide rich information about the communities in which properties are for sale. Our application allows members and those interested in the real estate industry to have real-time information from Ray White in respect of trends and information within the Ray White Group.”  He went on to say that the application is the first of the 2012 projects to be released. “We are also working on member applications as well as property applications that will benefit buyers and sellers in the market.

Ray White Inaugural Ronald McDonald House Charity Auction

The Ray White Group would like to acknowledge its members, suppliers and friends of the company who generously donated to our inaugural Ray White Ronald McDonald House Charity Auction through TradeMe.

The auction displayed over 50 items, including two items which were classified as ‘Cool Auctions’ being an 1995 All Blacks jersey and a cardiac assessment.

The auction raised a total of just over $9,800. The funds will be presented to the Chief Executive of Ronald McDonald House, Wayne Howett, at our next community evening whereby our corporate office prepares dinner for the families staying at Ronald McDonald House in Auckland.

Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for over 10,000 New Zealander’s each year.  For these Kiwi families, the Ronald McDonald House is more than just four walls and a roof; it provides a home for them while their child is receiving medical treatment at Starship Hospital.  Since Ronald McDonald House opened in 1994 over 45,000 families have stayed at the House.

Ray White plans to hold on behalf of Ronald McDonald House Auckland a charity auction in March 2013.


Megan Jaffe Opens Third Office in Upland Road Remuera

Ray White Remuera business owner Megan Jaffe is proud to announce the opening of a third office in the Upland Road Village in Remuera.  The office, located above The Villager, has been established due to the increased expansion of the overall agency.

Megan Jaffe Real Estate has been a member of Ray White for the past five years and has continued to maintain a consistent level of growth in market share.  The latest figures indicate the business is selling one in five properties in the Remuera and surrounding areas.

The Upland Road office has not only been designed for high performing salespeople but is a showpiece for the company, being able to host client evenings, prestige auctions and also house development projects.

Megan Jaffe said that the Upland Road office was a natural expansion for their business. “We have a premier location on Remuera Road. Just on 12 months ago we opened our second office in Orakei, and because of the number of salespeople and increased business volume we made a decision to further expand our agency to Upland Road.  The total sales team continues to grow and now stands at 28. With the three offices situated across our markets, we believe in being a business that is community focused while offering a superior service and personal attention to detail.”

Ronald McDonald House Auction Now Live

Ray White New Zealand is proud to announce a charity auction for Ronald McDonald House.

This auction is to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House who Ray White Real Estate has been a proud sponsor and business partner for the past five years.

Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for over 10,000 New Zealander’s each year.  For these Kiwi families, the Ronald McDonald House is more than just four walls and a roof; it provides a home for them while their child is receiving medical treatment at Starship Hospital.  Since Ronald McDonald House opened in 1994 over 45,000 families have stayed at the House.

Supreme Salesperson Recognised at the Ray White Annual Awards

Bruce Whillans from Ray White Commercial Auckland has been recognised as the Ray White Supreme Salesperson of the Year and also as the number two International Salesperson of the Year for the Group. The other awards received by Bruce during the evening included the qualitative award for marketing submissions with Brendan Keenan and also the number one commercial salesperson for the Ray White Group.

In accepting the award Bruce recognised his team and the achievements that they have successfully completed during the past 12 months. He said being appointed to several of the top developments in the Auckland region during the past 12 months had enabled the business to grow to new levels and this has given a further strength to the Ray White commercial business in Auckland.

Bruce Whillans and his team at Ray White Commercial Auckland have an extensive record of achievement with some of New Zealand’s largest commercial property transactions. In total Bruce and his team have sold over $1 billion worth of property, with a track record which includes sales of  Solo Square,  Beaumont Quarter Estate at $47 million, the Westhaven Marina at $52 million and West Plaza in the city at $20 million. Bruce was also recognised as being the listing agent for the Deloittes Centre just over 12 months ago, with a sale price of $177 million.

Ray White NZ Name Top Residential Salesperson of the Year

Rohan Thompson from Ray White Royal Oak was named the number one Residential Salesperson together with the number 5 International Salesperson and the Supreme Growth Salesperson for 2011 in front 670 Ray White members at the Ray White Annual Awards held last night at the SkyCity Grand Hotel in Auckland.

Rohan has been involved in the real estate industry for 14 years and has sold over 520 homes throughout the Royal Oak, One Tree Hill and Onehunga areas. 

In accepting the award, Rohan acknowledged his support team and his wife Justine for the support that he has during the day as well as after hours. Rohan acknowledged his business partner, Martin Honey, and the other sales members of Ray White.

Carey Smith, NZ Chief Executive of Ray White, said that Rohan is a highly respected industry sales leader. “Rohan has been recognised for many years in his achievement as a outstanding salesperson. He not only has the highest level of communication and quality service; he understands real estate also from his degrees in property valuation and property management.”

There were six categories that individual salespeople were recognised in during the evening. Other top residential salespeople include number two in Supreme Growth and Residential Salesperson of the Year Marie Raos from Howick. Philip Hall from Ellerslie was recognised as third in the category of Supreme Growth, with Helene Brownlee being awarded in third position in the residential salesperson category.

Ray White Announces No 1 National Office

At the Ray White 2012 Annual Awards held last night with 670 Ray White membersat the SkyCity Grand Hotel, Ray White City Apartments were named as the number one sales office in New Zealandand number four internationally throughout the Ray White Group.

Phil Horrobin, business owner of Ray White City Apartments, in accepting the award congratulated his 50 member team on the outstanding success that they had achieved during the past 12 months. He said the business is focused on ensuring each and every client has an outstanding experience with their company. He also acknowledged other offices in the Group and the success that collectively the Group had achieved during the past period.

Carey Smith, NZ Chief Executive of Ray White, made comment that the City Apartments office is not only the number one office in New Zealand but also has an outstanding market share, selling one in every three apartments and was also recognised as the top growth office in the Group during the past 12 months.

Other offices that were recognised during the evening were Ray White Ponsonby which was awarded the number two office in New Zealand and number five office internationally.  The Ray White Remuera office was positioned third in the top sales office for the Ray White Group.
