The Ray White Group would like to acknowledge its members, suppliers and friends of the company who generously donated to our inaugural Ray White Ronald McDonald House Charity Auction through TradeMe.

The auction displayed over 50 items, including two items which were classified as ‘Cool Auctions’ being an 1995 All Blacks jersey and a cardiac assessment.

The auction raised a total of just over $9,800. The funds will be presented to the Chief Executive of Ronald McDonald House, Wayne Howett, at our next community evening whereby our corporate office prepares dinner for the families staying at Ronald McDonald House in Auckland.

Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for over 10,000 New Zealander’s each year.  For these Kiwi families, the Ronald McDonald House is more than just four walls and a roof; it provides a home for them while their child is receiving medical treatment at Starship Hospital.  Since Ronald McDonald House opened in 1994 over 45,000 families have stayed at the House.

Ray White plans to hold on behalf of Ronald McDonald House Auckland a charity auction in March 2013.
