Ray White West Melton is now open and forms part of the award winning Ray White Rolleston business, which is headed up by Brendan Shefford, Sarah Booth and Emma George.

West Melton has been an area that has recently expanded with several housing subdivisions which has grown the population in the South West of Canterbury. Alongside the growth in the residential area of the town, the opportunity for businesses to support the community came about with the retail development that has recently been completed and the Ray White office being one of the first businesses to open in the new West Melton Centre.

Brendan Shefford said that the West Melton area has been one in which they continue to have a strong presence, ‘We have been part of the community, selling over 50% of the properties, and it was a logical and important step for us to open a new office in West Melton. It is a market that will continue to grow and as infrastructure such as schools and retail areas support the growing community, our business in West Melton will link with our presence in Rolleston and also with the team at Ray White Lincoln‘.

Jane Meyer, South Island Business Performance Manager for Ray White New Zealand, said that the office is well located and will serve the local property owners of West Melton. It is the first agency to be established in the area, with a full-service real estate agency and with a combination of the successful Rolleston and Lincoln offices, the West Melton area is a natural growth within the Selwyn region and will support the other offices across this part of Canterbury.
