Member Services Co-Ordinator
The Ray White Group currently operates from 135 locally owned real estate offices and has in excess of 1,800 members.
A vacancy has arisen at the corporate office for a suitable person to be appointed as the Member Services Co-Ordinator. This is a diverse and busy role; managing a variety of administration functions and working closely to help support key members of our leading real estate organisation. This is an important role within our organisation
The role involves co-ordination and liaising with our members in areas such as our business owner mentoring programme, zone performance meetings and management skills courses. Together with this successful applicant will be able to liaise with our business partners and key suppliers such as Ronald McDonald House, Super Gold and AA Smartfuel. Administration and secretarial support to our Auckland Business Performance Manager allows for further interaction with our members, as will the maintenance of our Elite and Premier recognition programme and assisting, by direction, with our new member start up programme and processes.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent level of communication, both verbal and written; should be able to work ahead of deadlines and must be able to work on a variety of tasks on a daily basis. This role will require, from time to time, the attendance at events held by Ray White and also that of our sponsors and business partners.
Ray White has a continued path of growth and as part of the role, introducing new members to the Ray White brand including technology, systems and processes would be necessary. Full training would be provided in this regard.
The ideal candidate will be well experienced in an administrative or PA support role and will be looking to further broaden their career and knowledge base. Key attributes include:

- Have a sound knowledge of Google and Microsoft operating systems

Debbie brings with her a wealth of real estate experience in the Upper Hutt region after being involved with a previous real estate office in the area for over 13 years. Debbie has been acknowledged as one of the best performers in the industry, being a top 2% performer and runner up salesperson in recent years. Debbie was also acknowledged as Wellington’s best real estate agent in 2005 through a an on-air programme with the Breeze radio station. In 2009 Debbie obtained her National Certificate in Real Estate. Debbie has a wide experience in marketing new and existing homes together with residential developments. Her personal support team includes Sharon Voller, who started her career over nine years ago.

Ray White is pleased to announce the opening of Ray White Newlands, which is located in the northern suburbs of Wellington approximately 8 kilometres from the city centre. Newlands is located in an area which looks over the Wellington Harbour and the Hutt Valley and has a local college, intermediate and also primary school.
The Newlands office forms part of the Wellington City Real Estate group owned by Vicki Collins. Ray White is the only real estate office in the Newlands area. Vicki Collins said the office was her company’s first steps into expanding their business across Wellington. “Newlands is an ideal market that is continuing to grow and has a diversified selection of property.”
Carey Smith, Chief Executive of Ray White New Zealand, welcomed the move into Newlands as the first real estate agency in the area. “Vicki’s local knowledge of the Newlands area over many years will be of benefit to the new office and office manager Robert Cutts also has good marketplace knowledge.”
Newlands is an active marketplace that has an average sale price of $366,000 which represents good value given its close proximity to the city. There are approximately 95 listings available in the area and sales numbers have remained active, with the average days on market being approximately 14.
Ray White Orakei opened their office just over 12 months ago in Coates Avenue under the leadership of Mike Zelcer and, together with business partner Megan Jaffe, the new business has enjoyed particularly strong sales and has reached a market share in excess of 30% in the Orakei region.
Mike Zelcer recently featured in the New Zealand Herald focus on suburb area in their Midweek Homes liftout, where the homes at 64 Kupe Street and 42B Te Arawa Street were featured as properties currently on the market. Together with this, in the recent sales section it showed that Mike Zelcer sold 19 Takitinu Street for $1.22 million.
Mike Zelcer said that the office has really gone ahead in leaps and bounds. “Our Ray White signage is now a familiar sight through the streets of Orakei and we have been getting outstanding results for our clients.” He went on to say that recently Lynn Bartram has joined the office, who has 19 years of sales experience in the Eastern Suburbs. “Lynn will compliment the ambitions of our growing office and she has always been known for the high quality service that she provides.

Ray White is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Thomson as our Business Performance Manager – Property Management.
Ben has property management in his blood, with a family involvement in the industry dating back to 1990, including a sibling currently involved in innovative new property management training software in Australia.
After several years of using his finance and accounting skills in a local manufacturing firm, Ben turned his sights to Property Management when an opportunity became available in one of South Auckland’s leading agencies. One of his first tasks was to implement new software and systems, and this desire to be at the leading edge of technology has carried through his six years in the industry.
Ben has been involved in commercial property management as well as apartment and residential management, with several years spent leading a team of 12 in managing over 1,100 properties in South and East Auckland. Under his guidance, the office won various regional and national awards for letting, individual and team property management.

Anna Brewster is the Agent Licensee and has had many years selling real estate in the Wanaka region after commencing her real estate sales career in 1995. Fiona Reid in her own right is recognised as one of the leading salespeople in Wanaka. Fiona started her real estate career in 2001 when she joined Anna Brewster at Locations in Wanaka. For over a decade Fiona’s success has been recognised with many awards and she is looking forward to bringing a strong work and service ethic to Ray White Wanaka.
Dean Orton forms part of the operations team at the Ray White Wanaka office. Dean has a specialist background in marketing and finance and also has previously owned a successful real estate company in Wanaka. Dean’s focus in the new business will be to provide marketing, finance and systems to the new operation.
Rachel Walsh moved to Wanaka just over six years ago and in that relatively short period of time has become a high performer in the real estate industry and has achieved several national and major real estate awards. Rachel has a strong client base throughout the Wanaka and Albert Town areas and as one of the partners in Ray White Wanaka, she will bring a strong sales dynamic to the agency.

The Ray White Mangawhai office has recently been purchased by Kaye and Stewart McElwain, who are locals to the area and have a strong sales background right throughout the Rodney and Kaipara Districts.
Kaye has had over 11 years of real estate sales and marketing through both the Auckland and Northland region. Having started with Ray White in Auckland, she has continued to receive awards over many years and during 2011/12 was the top salesperson for her former Mangawhai office and also was the number one salesperson for her former group for the period up until June 2012.
Kaye is excited by the opportunity of business ownership and having the support of Stewart in the business will allow them to fulfil a long held desire of business ownership. Stuart Bode has joined Ray White Commercial Auckland and has been involved in sales of over $1 billion worth of industrial and commercial property. Prior to his career in real estate, Stewart was a partner at one of Auckland’s leading law firms where he practiced for 13 years focusing on industrial and commercial property. Stewart has also been recognised through many awards, with his latest being just on nine months ago when he was recognised within his previous organisation as a $600 million performer. Two of his notable sales have been the ANZ Centre in Auckland for $33 million and 246 Queen Street in Auckland for $25 million.
Henry Thompson has joined Ray White Commercial Auckland in investment sales. Henry has worked closely with Stewart Bode over the past five years and has consistently achieved top results, having been directly involved with over $100 million of commercial and investment sales.
Also joining Ray White Commercial Auckland is Jan Hewitt. Jan has been involved in the commercial and residential real estate sector for the past 20 years, holding senior management and sales positions. Jan has a strong background in commercial property and combines this with an extensive experience in project marketing and residential office leasing.
