Business Development Executive Appointed

The Ray White Group is proud to announce the appointment of Kate Williams as our Central and Lower North Island Business Development Executive.

Kate joined the real estate industry in 1996 following a successful career in the travel industry.  During the past 14 years Kate has consistently achieved awards, being in the top 2% of salespeople in the LJ Hooker Group.   In 2005 she moved into business ownership through her office at Kati Kati.

Kate’s appointment is a direct result of the growth that Ray White has achieved in this region, with six new offices commencing during 2010.  Her role with the company includes the development and continued ongoing support for Ray White group members, with a focus towards market leadership in each area that the company trades.

Carey Smith, Chief Executive of the Ray White Group, said “The experience, knowledge and enthusiasm that Kate brings to the role will be a major boost for our members.  She has a great track record in succeeding in the industry and this will be directly imparted to our members.”

Corinna Mansell, Business Performance Manager of Ray White New Zealand, said that Kate’s appointment shows a growing confidence in the Central and Lower North Island market share increase.  “We have 32 businesses throughout the region and we expect to have more new offices join our group.  Kate’s experience will ensure that growth occurs.”

Papamoa Office Enjoys Continued Success

Greg Purcell, business owner of Ray White Papamoa, was recently awarded with the number one business for sales turnover in the Central North Island.  The Ray White Papamoa office is also a leader in market share, completing 31% of the sales in the region during the past quarter.

In accepting the award Greg said that his team are the ones to be congratulated. “They continually work hard to provide a high level of service to sellers and buyers and this builds strong relationships which end up in successful sales.”  He went on to say that the Papamoa area is a highly desirable place to live. Many of the buyers are coming from Auckland and Wellington looking for a quieter lifestyle but in an area where there is a good level of services.  The Ray White Papamoa office has recently increased its team to now be the largest in the area.  NZ Business Performance Manager, Corinna Mansell, said “It has been rewarding to watch the continued growth of Ray White Papamoa and the results that the office has achieved.”

The Mt Maunganui/Papamoa area last month recorded 59 sales at an average sale price of $400,000.  This is down slightly from last year when the average sale price was $422,000.  If you wish to receive a market review of the Papamoa area please contact Ray White Papamoa at email papamoa.nz@raywhite.com.

Challenge Cup Awarded to Corinna Mansell

The Ray White Group in New Zealand is pleased to recognise the recent award given to Corinna Mansell at the annual Ray White franchisors Crow’s Nest conference.

The Challenge Cup was won by Corinna Mansell, the New Zealand Business Performance Manager.  The Cup recognises dedication to salespeople and sales teams.  Corinna is a previous multi franchise owner for the Ray White Group in the Coromandel region.

In receiving the award Corinna recognised the corporate team in New Zealand and also noted the support that she receives from the entire network.  She said that we have just over 1,350 salespeople and ensuring that each of their needs, from new salespeople through to our most experienced Elite members, is met is a goal of hers and the business development team.  She went on to say that during the past 12 months the structure and process within the performance team has seen an increase in market share and that ultimately positions the Ray White Group in New Zealand as a clear challenger for market leadership.  Corinna has been part of the New Zealand corporate team for the past five years.

Further Strength for Ray White NZ Team

Ray White is pleased to announce that they have further strengthened their business performance team with the appointment of Rex Bignell.

Rex commenced in the industry at the age of 17. After a short qualifying period, he quickly moved to being a good performing salesperson and during the past years has worked alongside his father Geoff in their real estate agency situated in Maraetai Beach, Auckland.

Rex’s appointment brings the Ray White business performance team to five.  Corinna Mansell, NZ Business Performance Manager, said “Rex’s appointment was important given the growth that our company has achieved, with 14 new offices joining so far this year.  The growth in market share, particularly in Auckland, has required us to provide more skills to continue to ensure that we continue to gain market share going forward.”
